In 2008, David Gardner took over the reigns of the family run company, Ragnar Classic Engineering; carrying out a comprehensive rebrand to create two divisions of his new company – AutoRevive London. On one side, a passionate enthusiasm and dedication to classic sports cars, and on the other, an experienced and knowledgeable specialist service to modern German cars using industry leading diagnostic tools.

Ragnar Classic Engineering was originally formed  in 1985, specialising in Aston Martins, Jaguars and Chevrolet Corvettes. During the 23 years that followed, Ragnar Classic Engineering was responsible for maintaining and restoring over 600 vehicles; particular highlights included the preparation of Carol Spagg’s Aston Martin DB2/4, and numerous concours wins and awards.

Since its rebirth as AutoRevive London, the company continues the meticulously restore classic cars to concours specification. A recent recommisioning of a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso following long-term storage is an example of the type of classic car projects entrusted to AutoRevive London. Modern service work and routine maintenance ranges from annual services on modern Golfs or Audis to comprehensive engine out cambelt services on Ferrari 355’s.  David Gardner's experience stems from 3 long-term positions held at Summit Motors (MG Rover specialists), Citygate VW (a main dealer) and DK Engineering (the world’s leading Ferrari specialists).
