Last Sunday saw AutoRevive London's debut race meeting with MSVR Team Trophy at Silverstone in the Porsche Boxster S with Chris Mills and our Director David Gardner on the famous Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.

The day got off to a damp start for qualifying these tricky conditions making it a challenging drive, but the team managed to qualify sixth overall and first in class for the afternoon race.

The sun finally made an appearance soon after qualifying, drying out the track ready for the start of the hour-long race which Chris and David were thankful for! Chris Mills started the race, moving the car further up the field. After a quick driver change, David took the wheel of the Porsche and after a gruelling few laps, managed to get past fourth and third place, securing second in the penultimate lap. "I could see the second-place car and I realised I was getting increasingly close, so kept pushing the car as hard as possible, but with the tyres going off it was tricky and the car was becoming more of a handful," said David.

A great victory for the team, coming second overall out of 27 cars and first in class resulting in the first podium finish of their 2015 racing season in the Porche Boxster S!
